A Word From Dr. E.
|
The longer I serve as a superintendent the more I learn the
importance of several simple lessons. First,
make certain your faith and family are always in the correct priority order. I
cannot imagine serving in any leadership position without these "true north"
indicators being in place. Second,
never underestimate the importance of relationships. They bring coherence to your
professional efforts and sustain us during rough times. Third, I believe we must view our positions as
the one who: looks for the good (so many people do not), expects the best (cynicism seems
rampant and we as leaders must remain "of good heart"), and believes we can and
do make a difference - because we really do! |
